My name is Delilah and I’ve been traveling for 3 years. I’m from the United States but I don’t agree with borders and prefer to consider myself a citizen of the world. I did a fair bit of traveling before considering writing a blog. Only after solo backpacking through Africa did I realize I had some interesting perspectives and hopefully encouragement for women to go out there and see the world on their own. Ideally I will one day have a tab for all seven continents but that is a long term goal.

I travel with very little money and I volunteer most of the time. I use a platform called Workaway which allows me to trade food and lodging for five hours of work a day. Due to my limited funds and constant volunteering I know less about the touristy places of a country and more about affordable local guest houses and being a minority on public transport. If these things sound interesting to you feel free to skim through this site. If not, you should still check out my art section because who doesn’t want to look at cats and unicorns battling in space?

Once borders open up I plan to go to Australia where I have a Working Holiday Visa.
